projector vs. LCD

So our church is in a bit of a conundrum in our sanctuary. The short answer is, our projector died and it’s not replaceable. We have many challenges with our sanctuary.. with the biggest being we only have 9’ 6” from mount to screen and we cannot move the mount, screen, etc.

The worship pastor, tech director, and myself (IT) met last weekend to review/discuss options.. one idea that can out was what if we hung 3 plasma screens (front center, left, right). So we are exploring options in the LCD/plasma
So do any of you use this type for solution?

Are they plasma’s or LCD’s?
Do you use them in the sanctuary?
What is the largest screen you guys use?
Is there anything you wish you had done differently when choosing or hanging them?
